AHEAD of our upcoming home game against Warrington Town on Saturday, October 5, we are pleased to announced that as part of proceedings on the day, we will be supporting Mental Health through Lancashire Mind and Currys.
How, you may ask?
We will have a live band performing before kick-off and at half-time, along with a half-time challenge taking place on the pitch as well as a raffle, sponsored by Currys.
Why?
Well, one of the band members, Jamie, has a story to tell and mental health is a topic that means the world to him.
"I am proud to be supporting Lancashire Mind. Mental Health is a subject very close to my heart, especially after losing a close family friend late last year.
In light of this, I will be performing a song with my band at Chorley FC on the 5th of October, with the hope that this will help raise awareness of the support available through Lancashire Mind. I would also like to thank Chorley FC for hosting the event and Currys for sponsoring it," Jamie said.

At half-time, we will roll out a washing machine onto the pitch for a half-time challenge.
The fan which manages to kick the ball into the drum will win a washing machine, if we have more than one winner we will have a draw.
If no one wins then the washer will be donated to Lancashire Life.
