CHORLEY Football Club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to our supporters for the fantastic backing they continue to give the team, both home and away. Your support throughout this season has been tremendous and does not go unnoticed by the players, staff and everyone connected with the football club. In particular, the travelling support we receive on the road has been outstanding and plays a huge part in driving the team forward.

However, the club has received reports following our recent fixture at Macclesfield regarding foul and abusive language and chants directed towards specific individuals. These incidents were reported to the Football Association.

Chorley Football Club wishes to make it clear that we do not condone abusive language, discriminatory behaviour or the targeting of any individual, whether inside or outside of a football ground. Such behaviour is not acceptable and does not reflect the values of our football club.

We are proud of our supporters and the passionate backing they give the team, and we want that support to continue in a positive manner that represents Chorley Football Club in the right way. The club will continue to work with the relevant authorities and governing bodies to ensure that football remains a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone.

Thank you once again for your continued support of the team.
