THE Magpies got in some added game time during their mini weekend training camp in Spain, putting three goals past Alicante City on a warm evening in El Campello.
Andy Preece’s men were quick off the mark, creating a number of chances before taking the lead within 15 minutes through midfielder Cian Spencer-McDermott.
The second goal came six minutes after the restart and following six half time changes – Jack Hazlehurst on target with his first goal in Chorley colours.
And it was Hazlehurst once again who added the third and final goal on 63 minutes, rounding off an important pre-season session in testing conditions.
