CHORLEY defender, Mark Ellis was once again involved with March of the Day III this morning, as a strong group of walkers visited Victory Park this morning.
Mark joined a team taking part in the annual charity walk in support of the Darby Rimmer Foundation and the Leeds Hospital Charity.
Football and Rugby League stars have come together to raise awareness and funds to try and combat the devastating effects of the currently incurable Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This has hit many people of the sporting community, including Stephen Darby and, more recently, Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow.
Covering around 350 miles between 1-6 June and taking in visits to more than 50 Football and Rugby League grounds across the North West, this is the longest of these events to date.
Part of the group, were former Liverpool players; Martin Kelly, Jay Spearing and Rickie Lambert.
