TWO tough, long away trips done and dusted. Now it's time to get to it, back on home soil.

After a brilliant away trip to Brackley Town on Tuesday, where the Magpies ran out 0-2 winners at St James's Park thanks to two second-half penalties from Jack Sampson, we now look ahead to Phil Brown's high-flying, Kidderminster Harriers.

The Opponents

Currently second in the National League North, Kiddy came with a well-earned point on Tuesday against Chester.

After going in front, the Reds went down to ten men after Ashley Hemmings was adjudged to have handled on the line to prevent an equalizer for the visitors.

The Harriers have had a flying start to the league, winning their opening three games of the season before falling to a 2-1 defeat to Warrington Town.

Kidderminster Harriers have two players leading the way for most goals this season.

Maziar Kouhyar and Ashley Hemmings are both joint on four goals so far in the campaign.

The Manager

Phil Brown is the man in charge; taking the job in January this year, the former Blackpool right-back has been on a mission to rebuild after they were relegated from the National League last season.

Brown is one of the more experienced managers in the division, having been with several clubs before.

The former fullback has been at Bolton, Preston North End, Hull City, Southend United, Swindon Town, Hyderabad, Barrow and Kidderminster Harriers clubs.

Brown is familiar with our manager, Andy Preece, having linked up at Blackpool many years ago.

A word from Preecy

"It's going to be a very stern test when we welcome Phil and his side on Saturday. They've come down into this league, they're full-time and they've started very well. We'll have to be at our best here. The win against Brackley was a real boost, and well deserved, but, this is another game and another opportunity to get a result."
