THE Magpies are back on home soil after our long away trip to Leamington last weekend.
This time, Chorley are hosting Vanarama National League North leaders Chester.
The Opponents
The Seals are unbeaten in their last five league games, with two draws from their last two matches coming against Needham Market at home and a 1-1 draw away at Oxford City.
However, before their defeat to South Shields back in February, they went on a ten-match unbeaten streak with only two draws in that impressive run.
After Charlie Caton departed for League Two side Accrington Stanley, Tom Peers is now the club's joint-top goalscorer.
Peers has 14 goals so far this season and scored in the last fixture against the Magpies back in November.
Declan Weeks is the player creating the most chances for the Seals. The midfielder has a staggering 15 assists so far and is one player who certainly should be watched closely this weekend.
The Manager
Calum McIntyre is the man in charge of the Seals.
Having taken over in the 2021/22 season, McIntyre has led Chester on some impressive campaigns.
He managed to guide the Seals to a third-placed finish in only his second season in management.
The 31-year-old would then lose the play-off semi-finals to Brackley Town.
McIntyre was also crowned Vanarma National League North Manager of the Season for 2022/23. In that season, the Seals went on an impressive 21-match unbeaten away streak and had the best defensive record in the league.
