LAST season, Southport spent the majority of their time in mid-table, eventually finishing in 18th place with 53 points.
In what was probably their most notable game, The Sandgrounders defeated Kidderminster 2-1 at home on the final day, a result which prevented the latter from achieving automatic promotion.

In our first outing against Southport last season, we were 4-1 winners at Victory Park.
But in the reverse fixture away from home there was nothing to separate the two sides as the game finished 0-0.
