LAST season, Chester reached the playoff final after finishing fourth in the league with 87 points.
However, they failed to achieve promotion at the final hurdle, losing 2-1 to Scunthorpe United after extra time in the final.
Chester play their home games at the Deva Stadium, CH1 4LT.
They go by 'The Blues' and/or, 'The Seals'.

Playoffs: In the quarter finals, the Blues beat Buxton 2-1 after extra time at home, in the semi-finals, they also beat Kidderminster Harriers 1-2 this time away from home; however, in the final they lost against Scunthorpe United after extra time.

Chester’s manager is Calum McIntyre, who is now going into his fourth consecutive season in charge of The Blues.
Their top scorer last season was Tom Peers, who netted 18 goals in the league.
HEAD TO HEAD
In our first game against Chester last season, the Magpies lost 2-1 away from home at the Deva Stadium, Tom Carr netting his first goal for the club; a late consolation.
However, in the reverse fixture at Victory Park, Andy Preece's side pulled off a superb comeback to win 3-2 back in March.
We will face Chester at home on Saturday 16th August and away on Saturday 17th January in the Enterprise National League North.
