CHORLEY FC are excited to announce the signing of Lucas Weaver, who joins the Magpies on loan until January 3, 2026, from National League side, Altrincham.
Lucas has one goal to his name from nine National League appearances this season (143 minutes), as well as National League North experience having spent time out on loan with Radcliffe previously.
Weaver broke through at Colne, scoring over 40 goals in the 2023/24 campaign - ultimately, ending up in Alty signing the 23-year old for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year old also spent time out on loan with Bamber Bridge, scoring ten times in 11 games.
Lucas made 20 appearances for Phil Parkinson's Altrincham last season, scoring once in the league, (491 minutes).
Manager Andy Preece had this to say upon completion of the deal.
"Lucas is a quick direct player who has got an excellent goal scoring record. He is a player who gets fans on the edge of their seats. He will be a welcome boost to our attacking options.
We have been tracking his progress and were ready to act as soon as he became available. Thanks to Phil and Altrincham for allowing Lucas to come to us."
Lucas will wear the number 19 shirt for the Magpies and is available for selection this weekend.
Congratulations Lucas and welcome to Chorley Football Club, we're excited to see you feature in the famous black and white stripes!
