CHORLEY FC are excited to announce the signing of young striker, Harry Ibbitson, who joins the club on a month-long loan deal from League One side, Bradford City.

This signing is subject to National League and FA clearance.*

Harry, 19, a product of the Bantams' Academy, has been with City since he was 15. Last season, Ibbitson spent time out on loan at fellow National League North side Kidderminster Harriers, as well as a couple of months under Mark Bower's watchful eye at Guiseley AFC.

Ibbitson was part of Graham Alexander's squad that travelled to Chorley in this pre-season, however, Harry did not play any part on that night. Having said that, the 19-year old prospect has been with the first time throughout this summer in preparation for the upcoming campaign.

Manager, Andy Preece, had the following to say upon completion of the deal.

"We're really happy to have Harry with us, he comes in with great reviews, he's highly thought of at Bradford, it's exciting. He will give us another attacking option within the squad and I think that's really important, especially going into the season and factoring in the seven-subs rule that's new this year."

Congratulations Harry and welcome to Chorley Football Club, we're excited to see you feature in the famous black and white stripes!
