CHORLEY FC are excited to announce the signing of young central defender, George Pratt, who joins the club on a month-long loan deal from Championship side, Blackburn Rovers.
George, 21, has risen through the ranks at youth level for Rovers and signs on with the Magpies through to October.
In 2024/25, Pratt played for the U23 side and captained the team in the Premier League 2 competition.
Manager, Andy Preece, had the following to say upon completion of the deal.
"George is highly thought of at Blackburn Rovers, played and trained with the first team during pre-season.
He had a couple of injuries, which means he needs to get some experience and minutes under his belt.
I'm delighted Blackburn and George felt coming and working with us is the right place to continue his development.
He brings us balance in the back four, and we're confident his loan will be as successful as Brandon's and Kristy's were.
Thanks to all the staff at Blackburn Rovers for helping us with the deal."
George will wear the number 27 shirt for the Magpies.
