CHORLEY FC can now confirm that the Magpies Trust have now agreed to increase their shareholding in the football club to 10%, subject to confirmation.
At the supporters meeting in November 2023, Magpies Trust chair Julian Vass presented the board’s proposal to offer the club a £7,000 donation.
In return for this, the Trust would increase their shareholding to 10%.
A vote on the proposal was sent out to the membership of the Trust and the results stand as follows:
In Favour – 86.3%
Against – 9.8%
Abstain – 3.9%
