THIS season has seen a fantastic rise in support for Chorley FC, with home attendances increasing and our away following as strong as ever. The backing you give the team truly makes a difference and both players and staff are grateful for the commitment shown week in, week out.
However, we have received reports of undesired behaviour at some fixtures. While isolated, these incidents do not reflect the values of our club and can have consequences with the FA. Any such behaviour can also result in further consequences, including possible bans from representing the football club. Chorley FC prides itself on being a family club, and it is vital that our support – both home and away – remains positive and respectful at all times.
This afternoon we face Congleton Town in the FA Cup. It promises to be a very difficult test, and we will need your support to help drive the team on. The FA Cup has brought us so many memories over the years, not least our most recent significant run and it is a competition that means a great deal to us as a club.
Let’s continue to show the very best of Chorley FC – loud, passionate, proud and respectful – as we look to create more special moments together.
Thank you for your continued backing.
