THE club can confirm this afternoon that Mike Calveley, Mark Ellis and Matt Urwin all remain under contract with the Magpies going into the 2025/26 campaign.
Calvs, a mainstay in the Magpies' midfield, managed to hit double figures for goals for the second successive campaign last season and has 27 goals in total for the club with 220 appearances since signing for the club from Curzon Ashton in 2020.
Ello has been a revelation since signing for the club in July 2023. The experienced defender has scored 19 goals in 90 appearances across two seasons. The 36-year old was named in the National League North Team of the Season in 2024/25.
Captain of the club, Urwin, has made 337 appearances for Chorley to date, including 53 in the 2024/25 season, with a tally of 17 clean sheets.
Andy Preece had the following to say in light of the positive news.
"Having the quality already signed on is so important as we start to build for next season.
All three got Player of the Year awards so our fans will be delighted.
It's a good position for us to be in to have the spine of the team as strong as any team in the league."
