CHORLEY FC can confirm that Willem Tomlinson has left the club and has agreed to join Radcliffe Borough.
Tommo made 99 competitive appearances for the Magpies, scoring ten times for the club across three and a half seasons. He has been a very good servant and throughout his time and has contributed to some of our memorable moments including being a part our infamous FA Cup run in the 2020/21 season and scored excellent goals against Kidderminster Harriers and Gateshead.

Chorley manager Andy Preece had this to say regarding Tomlinson's departure, "Tommo is a great character and an excellent footballer. Unfortunately for Tommo, the form of Joe Nolan coupled with missing some of pre-season has meant that opportunities have been restricted for him.
I am happy we have been able to help Tommo get back to enjoying his football again and I know that he is grateful for that. We would all like to wish Tommo the best of luck with the next chapter of his his career and thank him for his contributions over the years.”
Regarding his departure to Radcliffe Borough, Tommo said, “I’ve made some brilliant memories and friends at the club and I'm extremely grateful for the all that Chorley FC have done for me from the minute I signed for the football club.
However, I feel that now is the right time for me to move on and I look forward to the next challenge at Radcliffe Borough.”
Everybody at Chorley FC would like to thank Tommo and wish him the best of luck at Radcliffe Borough and for the future.
