ANOTHER youngster signed up to a long-term deal – Harry Scarborough has put pen to paper on a contract extension at the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium.

The 20-year-old came through with the club’s under-18s and under-21s and made his first team debut last season against Brackley Town. The forward has since made 10 senior appearances for the Magpies, scoring one goal.

I’m really pleased to be able to continue my progression with Chorley and I’m very thankfully for the opportunity. It’s a great club to be a part of and I’m looking forward to what 2023 has to offer  Harry Scarborough

After a couple of loan spells last season with City of Liverpool and Charnock Richard, Harry moved up a level to the NPL Premier Division, knocking in five goals during a productive loan stint with neighbours Bamber Bridge before Christmas.

Harry is a great example of how young players in our setup can progress onto first team football and improve their game in the process. We’re delighted he’s signed a new contract and we’re sure he’ll continue his progress in 2023 and beyond  Andy Preece

A huge thank you to Dish Bar & Restaurant for sponsoring Harry for the 2022/23 season.
