THE first of three straight at home on the way this evening as the Magpies (15th, 21pts) welcome old rivals Spennymoor Town (16th, 20pts) to the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium.

Andy Preece’s side put one of the league’s last remaining unbeaten home records on the line against a Moors side once again under the guidance of Jason Ainsley following a managerial switch in late September.

We’ve got the chance to respond quickly after Saturday and that’s exactly what we’ll be looking to do. Our home record is good and it’s something we’ve got to continue with if we’re to move up towards the playoff spots – Andy Preece

Spennymoor Town (spennymoortownfc.co.uk)
