THREE more hugely important Vanarama National League North points on the line later as the Magpies (7th, 38pts) welcome Alfreton Town (12th, 33pts) to the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium.

Andy Preece’s men have had to impress on the road of late (2W/2D), with only one home game since early December. For our opponents it’s no wins and only one goal scored in their last four away league outings.

The hunt for more points continues. We’ve got ourselves into a great league position just inside the playoff spots and now’s the time to start cementing that position. It won’t be easy against what is a very good Alfreton side, but we back ourselves to continue our good run – Andy Preece

A tense and nervy game over the August Bank Holiday was broken open by Jon Ustabaşi with 13 minutes remaining, and finished as a contest by Ollie Shenton with a minute to go – 552 saw it.

Match Day Sponsors

We’re delighted to welcome long-time backers Rivers Electrical Ltd back to the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium this weekend. The Chorley-based electricians will be enjoying our Carlsberg Box hospitality for the second time in 2022/23.

Owner Craig is not only a fantastic sponsor of the club (shirt sponsor, sponsor boards) but also an active and important volunteer at HQ, helping out with not only electrical work and odd jobs, but also stewarding when needed.

Need electrical work doing? Give Rivers Electrical a call on 07921 068 956 or find them on Facebook.
