CHORLEY FC are delighted to announce that Adam Blakeman has put pen to paper on a new, long-term deal to extend his stay with the football club.
Adam initially signed for the Magpies back in 2016 and has gone on to make 306 appearances in the black and white stripes to date. Blakes was a member of the club's 2019 National League North play-off winning squad.
Having spent a season away at Spennymoor Town, Blakes then returned to the fold and has continued to be a mainstay in the Magpies' group at left-back. The 32-year old made 40 appearances for the club in 2023/24, scoring once - an absolute rocket against Banbury United.
Manager Andy Preece had this to say upon completing the deal: "Blakes has had another brilliant season with us and I'm made up that we've got pen to paper and gotten the deal over the line. Blakes has been a fantastic servant to the football club and fully deserves this new contract. I've no doubt that he will continue to have a big, positive impact on our game and how we play into the new season and beyond."
