WE’RE back at home, this Saturday as we welcome Hereford to the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium in the Vanarama National League North.
The Magpies came out triumphant in midweek, battling to beat South Shields 2-1 thanks to goals from Mike Calveley and Carlton Ubaezounu.

“Everything that could go right for us went right for us today – we had our luck; they’ve hit the post, missed a few chances, Matty (Urwin) has made some fantastic saves for us and we’ve scored a worldy goal from Carlton (Ubaezuonu).
South Shields are probably the best side, based off that performance that we’ve played this season – I thought they were excellent, really, really hard to keep away from our goal.” - Andy Preece
Hereford have had a mixed start to their Vanarama National League North campaign and currently sit 17th in the league table.
The Bulls are in a real position of transition for 2023/24 after taking on Paul Caddis as manager along with a number of new signings for this season.
Alex Babos is their current top goalscorer for the campaign (3), they come into this fixture on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Alfreton Town.
