WE’RE off on our travels this Saturday to take on Curzon Ashton at the Tameside Stadium in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round.
The Magpies had to settle for a point last time out against Scunthorpe United after Justin Johnson grabbed the equaliser shortly after the break, his fifth goal of the season.

“I was really happy with the point, the performance – the desire and character from the lads today was excellent. Our press was fantastic from back to front and that’s what got us the goal, a real credit to first Jack (Moore) and then Justin (Johnson) with that bit of quality to get us the goal.” - Andy Preece.
Curzon come into this off the back of an impressive 2-0 away win against high-flying Brackley Town last weekend but were dealt a big blow this week, the loss of manager Adam Lakeland who has moved on to King’s Lynn.
The Nash will be looking for revenge after Justin Johnson’s goal was enough for Andy Preece’s side to claim all three points on Tameside three weeks ago.
