CONFIRMATION that winger Jon Ustabaşı has turned down a new contract with the Magpies to move to a club in a higher division.
The 29-year-old, who originally joined us on loan from Stalybridge Celtic in January 2021, leaves the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium after making 85 appearances and scoring 21 goals.

Bashi had one of the best seasons of his career and understandably has taken the opportunity to speak to other clubs at a higher level to fulfil his ambition to play full time football. We made Bashi an offer, but the chance to play full time football is something he can’t turn down. He’ll sign for a full time club today.
