WE are taking a look at the new sides entering the Enterprise National League North for the 2026/27 season. First off, we are headed to Northamptonshire.
Brackley Town will return to the Grant Store Victory Park Stadium this season after their short stint in the National League.
Known as The Saints, they are led by manager Andy Whing who took charge of the last few months of Brackley’s first and only season in the National League to date.
The 2024/25 campaign under Gavin Cowan was arguably the club’s most successful season in its existence – with them finishing top of the National League North and achieving automatic promotion on the final day after beating Farsley Celtic 5-0.
Last season saw Brackley come straight back down to the National League North, with The Saints in particular struggling for form after Cowan left for Shrewsbury Town in January of this year.
This season will see the Magpie faithful return to St James’ Park for the first time since September 2024.
