HE club can confirm this afternoon that Craig Hewitt has been retained ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Having signed for the Magpies in August 2024, Craig made 20 appearances for the club, scoring four times.
The 21-year old, an explosive, attacking winger, had a turbulent campaign that was hampered with injuries. Having had surgery back in March, Craig has been recovering well since the procedure undertaken was a success.
Craig has previously played for Banbury United and is a youth product of Championship side, Coventry City.
Andy Preece had the following to say regarding Craig.
"Craig was in great form before his injury.
He was creating or scoring regularly and was constant threat to defences.
It was really frustrating for him and us that he missed the majority of the games last season.
We can't wait for the season to start to see him causing havoc to defences across the league"
