THE club can confirm this afternoon that Adam Henley has been retained ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Having signed for the Magpies in 2020, Adam has had one of his best seasons' to date in 2024/25, making 47 appearances in the campaign.

The 30-year old has previously played for Bradford City, Blackburn Rovers, Real Salt Lake and has also been capped by Wales on an international level. Adam has made 168 appearances for Chorley to date.

Andy Preece had the following to say regarding Adam.

"Henners had a great season not just in his performance but the fact he played so many games.

He has struggled to play many more than 30 games a season through niggly injuries.

Playing as many games as he has is a credit to his discipline and focus.

When you take into account his running stats, it's a brilliant achievement to play game after game at his intensity."

We hope you will join us in looking forward to seeing more of Adam in the famous black and white shirt!
