CHORLEY FC are delighted to confirm that Craig Hewitt has signed on with the Magpies following his recent departure from Banbury United.
Having experienced his first season of senior football in the 2023/24 campaign with the Puritans, the 20-year old winger joins up with the Magpies for the upcoming season.
Craig made 44 appearances for Banbury last season, scoring three times, he also featured on both occasions against the Magpies in 2023/24, assisting their only goal in the away fixture in December of 2023.
Born in Milton Keynes, Craig came through the youth ranks with EFL Championship side, Coventry City before moving to Banbury in September of 2022.
Manager, Andy Preece had the following to say upon completion of the deal.
"I'm absolutely delighted to welcome Craig to the club. He's an exciting player who will get our supporters off their seats. I've had my eye on him for quite a while, he's done really well in the past two games as a "trialist", scoring in each of them."
