The 2025/26 season has seen a fantastic rise in support for Chorley FC, with both home and away attendances increasing. Your backing continues to make a real difference, and the players and staff are extremely grateful for the commitment shown week in, week out.
However, in recent weeks we have received correspondence from the Football Association regarding the use of flares, smoke bombs and other objects being thrown onto the playing surface at away fixtures. As a club, we are required to respond to the FA explaining why these incidents occur.
While isolated, such incidents can result in serious consequences for Chorley FC, including significant financial penalties and if they persist, potential points deductions. We therefore respectfully ask all supporters to refrain from throwing any objects onto the playing area.
This behaviour does not reflect the values of our football club. It may also lead to further individual consequences, including stadium bans from representing Chorley FC at both home and away matches.
Chorley FC prides itself on being a family club and it is vital that our support, wherever we play, remains positive, respectful and representative of everything we stand for.
The second half of the 2025/26 season promises to be an exciting one, with a real opportunity to push for the play-off places and potential promotion. Your support at every fixture will be crucial as we strive to achieve this together.
Let’s continue to show the very best of Chorley FC.
Be loud. Be passionate. Be proud. Be respectful. Let’s continue to create some special moments.
Thank you for your continued support.
