Chorley FC are delighted to welcome back Rhys Fenlon to Victory Park on a permanent transfer, following the expiration of his contract at League Two club Accrington Stanley.
The 21-year old is someone who will be familiar to many of our supporters having signed for the Magpies on loan last season - only for his game-time with us to be limited due to injury.

“Rhys has massive potential which has been halted by injuries over the past two years. We have already seen in pre-season the pace skill and quality on the ball he possesses…
We will have to be patient it’s a similar situation to Harry Cardwell when he signed. When he’s at full fitness he will be a massive player for us and expect him to play at a very high level.” - Andy Preece
Salford-born Rhys started his career with Parkwydnn Juniors before joining Accrington Stanley at under-eight's level before representing Manchester City (2014-18) and Burnley (2018-20).
The attacking midfielder would then re-sign with Stanley in 2020 before then spending time out on loan with fellow National League North side Southport and of course, Chorley.
Welcome back to Chorley FC, Rhys!
