CHORLEY FC are delighted to confirm that Adam Henley has put penned a new, long-term contract to extend his stay with the football club.
Adam signed for the Magpies back in 2020 having previously played for Bradford City. Henners has also been capped twice internationally with Wales, played in Major League Soccer as well as coming through the ranks with Blackburn Rovers - a period that included seven Premier League appearances.
The 29-year old made 43 appearances for the Magpies in 2023/24, scoring three times. Adam has now played a total of 121 times in the Black and White stripes.
Henners, predominantly a right-back has played a handful of times out on the left and it's fair to say manager Andy Preece is excited to have this deal all done.
"It gives me great pleasure to have this contract all signed and sorted with Henners. He's a fantastic lad, has had a brilliant season with us and is fully deserving of this contract to continue the journey with us here.
I can't stress enough the impact Henners also has off the pitch as well, his contributions with our Soccer Schools, the Chorley FC Community Foundation, walking football and much more - it doesn't go unnoticed and I'm sure I speak for everyone in that we're made up to have him here."
