CHORLEY FC are delighted to announce the signing of experienced central midfielder Luke Summerfield, who joins the Magpies on a short-term contract.
A seasoned campaigner, Luke brings a wealth of experience from a career stretching across both the Football League and National League.
A product of the Plymouth Argyle youth system, Luke has previously turned out for clubs including AFC Bournemouth, Leyton Orient, Cheltenham Town, Shrewsbury Town, York City, Grimsby Town, Wrexham, FC Halifax Town, and Kidderminster Harriers before arriving at Chorley.
Andy Preece had this to say about the new addition:
“Luke’s experience and composure in midfield will be invaluable to us. He knows how to read the game, control tempo, and bring younger players through. Signing a player of his calibre, even on a short-term deal, shows our ambition to compete right from the start.”
