CHORLEY FC can confirm that George Pratt has been recalled by his parent club, Blackburn Rovers.
George made seven appearances in his time with the club, including a solitary goal, the first of his senior career, coming away at Buxton.
Andy Preece had the following to say in light of the news.
“I couldn't be happier for Pratty. To force his way into the team up against the experience we have is credit to him.
He really deserves this opportunity to go back and be part of the Blackburn first team squad.
I always say to loan players we are here to help you as much as they are coming in to help us. Again it's been really positive for us and the player.
Pratty is a throw back as a player and character. He's been one of us from day one, totally committed to Chorley Football Club.
I can't speak highly enough of Pratty and Blackburn, in particular Jordan Rhodes.
We have a growing, successful relationship with Kristi and Pratty both being recalled to the first team squad.
Spotting the potential in these players isn't easy so credit to our recruitment.”
Everybody at Chorley FC would like to thank George for his contributions and also, to Blackburn Rovers for allowing George to develop with us this season.
Thank you, George!
