FULL back Mark Ross has rejoined The Magpies for the 2019/20 Vanarama National League campaign after spending the whole of pre-season training with Jamie Vermiglio’s squad.
No stranger to Victory Park having spent a number of seasons in black and white previously; the 30-year-old left for Stockport County in 2016 before playing the last two years at Bradford (Park Avenue).
I’m over the moon to be back. Pre-season has been great and we’ve competed well against some very good sides so far, which I think shows we more than capable of competing in the National League. I want to help the club keep moving forward in any way I can and being able to wear a Chorley shirt again means an awful lot to me. I must thank the gaffer and coaching staff, who’ve been brilliant so far, and all the players for making me welcome. I know firsthand that Chorley is built on the closeness of the playing squad and it’s great to see that hasn’t changed – Mark Ross
We’re really happy to welcome Rossy back to Victory Park after spending all of pre-season with us. He has a lot of experience, he’s fit, strong, versatile and consistently plays 40 plus games a season. He’ll also add competition for places along the backline, along with a great attitude and he knows what the club is all about – Jamie Vermiglio
