With Easter just around the corner, Chorley FC have made a special donation to Derian House Children’s Hospice.
On Thursday afternoon, the staff and children were surprised to see manager Jamie Vermiglio and commercial manager Josh Vosper arrive with a large amount of eggs to celebrate the Bank Holiday weekend.
We have a very close relationship with Derian House and thought it would be lovely to give something back and support such an incredible organisation. As everyone knows, they are amazing, providing respite and end-of-life care to more than 300 children and young people across the region.
This donation will co-inside with next weekend’s fixture against Bradford (Park Avenue) as we are going to brand ‘Derian Day’ – celebrating 25 years of care. Based on Astley Village, staff will be coming to bucket collect amongst many other activities. I’d encourage all our fans to help in any way they can and give generously – Josh Vosper
We were thrilled to see Chorley FC bring Easter eggs for our children. They will no doubt put a smile on the young people’s faces and we really do appreciate the support they provide. Moving forward we can’t wait until next weekend, raising money for the hospice and hopefully celebrating three points for the Magpies – Elaine Middleton (Corporate & Partnerships Manager for Derian House)
