The Club have been saddened to hear of the passing of long-standing supporter Paul Tiffin aged 70.
Tiffin, originally from Hesketh Bank had always loved football since playing for Tarleton High School from an early age and moved to Chorley just after the Millennium. It wasn’t long before his first visit to Victory Park, enjoying notable games in the Club’s history including the play-off final against AFC Fylde which culminated in promotion to the Northern Premier League.
During his life he was a school caretaker but his passion for the game always shone though as he admired Steve Foster, Jake Cottrell and skipper Andy Teague. He attended home matches with his son-in-law James and enjoyed the Club’s rise to the National League North supporting his team every single week.
He will be sorely missed by all his friends and family, leaving behind wife Joyce, daughter Joanne, sons Paul, Gary, Andrew and grandchildren Bailey, Liston, Nayana, Ruby and Cole.
