The Magpies have completed the signing of veteran ‘keeper Tony McMillan on a dual registration deal from Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division promotion hopefuls Warrington Town.

The 36-year-old has been a mainstay at Cantilever Park over the last couple of seasons after previously starring in over 200 games for Southport, as well as enjoying stints with Barrow & Stalybridge Celtic.

We need a bit of cover in goal at the moment and because Tony was available and has plenty of experience at our level it made sense to get him on-board to make sure we’re set over the next few gamesJamie Vermiglio
