Latest NewsIntroducing our FA Cup shirt sponsors

10th November 2018

Chorley FC are delighted to announce Nationwide Franking Sense as main shirt sponsor for the Emirates FA Cup clash with Doncaster Rovers.

A packed crowd will watch the Magpies take on the League One side in the First Round of the world’s oldest cup competition on Sunday, November 11 (12.45pm).

It’s fantastic to get involved with Chorley FC and we always try and help local football clubs whenever we can. The set-up at Victory Park is great and meeting the manager, Jamie Vermiglio was brilliant. He’s certainly a live wire and you can tell the lads have certainly responded to him this season. As a family business based in Bolton we’ve been around for nearly 30 years and got over 4,500 customers across the country. We specialise in office and mail room equipment, as the name suggests, providing and supporting the most appropriate technology for the individual Julian Gilbert (Managing Director, Nationwide Franking Sense)

A sleeve sponsor will also feature on the one-off shirts – Porter Lancastrian, who are based at Lower Healey Business Park. Since 1936 the brand has been a leader in the design, development and manufacturing of drinks dispense products and services for the Global drinks industry, all in Chorley.

We’re thrilled to have Franking Sense and Porter Lancastrian join our Magpie Family. Both have been brilliant to deal with and I can’t thank them enough for their fantastic support. As always with the FA Cup, a good run helps us maximise our income and therefore lay the foundations for great times ahead – Josh Vosper (Chorley FC Commercial Manager)

Chorley FC is a non-league football club based in Lancashire, currently playing in the fifth tier of the English football pyramid.

Founded in 1875 as a rugby club before converting to football in 1883, The Magpies have played at their Victory Park home since 1920, reached the FA Cup Second Round twice and won a record 18 Lancashire FA Challenge Trophies.
