The Magpies finished the month of August a perfect seven from seven, remaining top of the pile after a comprehensive 2-0 victory over Curzon Ashton. Louis Almond’s first for the club set Jamie Vermiglio’s side on their way just after half time, before Marcus Carver sealed the points in stoppage time with an unstoppable drive.

The Magpies made three changes from the side that started at Blyth, with Lewis Short (full debut), Courtney Meppen-Walter & Louis Almond replacing Adam Blakeman, Stephen Jordan & Josh Wilson.

For The Nash, Cameron McJannet and Mohamud Ali came in for Jack O’Leary & Paul Marshall.
