Chorley 1-1 Bamber Bridge 05/04/2010

Easter Monday, 3pm

This years Easter Derby ended all square, with the visitors grabbing a late equaliser.

From the kick-off Chorley were on top and bosses the possession.

Following the interval the game tightened up and both sides tioled for rare chances at goal.  Danial Lloyd-McGoldrick could have done better when put through following excellent harassment from Burke, but the young loanee from Southport took too long to steady himself to shoot and was closed down, while at the other end Hibbert stretched to palm one 18 yard drive round the post.

With time running out for the visitors substitute striker Phil Denney made the most of a rare Zac Hibbert mistake, robbing the ball off the keeper when he miss-kicked a clearance a slotting into the empty goal from the edge of the area.

Late on David Thompson almost grabbed a late winner, but Hinchcliffe made a fine save, tipping over the bar.
