Keil O'BRIEN

DEFENDER

The 6' 4" defender originally joined the Magpies from Evo-Stik Division One North side Mossley just before Christman 2012 where the then 20-year-old central defender was a fixture in the Seel Park team.

He quickly formed a formidable partnership with Magpies skipper Andy Teague while culminated in the side lifting the Evo-Stik Premier League title in 203/14.

However, when the Magpies were promoted to the National League North, Keil opted to move on and joined football league side Bury.

Injuries have limited his chances with the skakers, but he had a successful loan spell with FC Halifax in late 2015 and rejoined the Magpies in late February 2016 on an initial 28-day-loan.

Former Clubs: Manchester United, Glossop North End, Northwich Victoria, Radcliffe Borough (loan), Mossley, Chorley, Bury, FC Halifax Town (loan), Chorley (loan)
