Jack CUDWORTH

Goalkeeper

The son of former Magpies central defender Night, Jack joined the Magpies in August 20120 from Blue Square Premier side AFC Telford United.

The 21-year-old started his career at Preston North End, working his way through youth system at Deepdale to the reserve side.  He then moved into the League of Wales with Welshpool and Rhyl, where he caught the eye of then Football League side Macclesfield Town and went on to spend two seasons with the Silkmen.

He returned to Rhyl on loan and then finished last season in the Blue Square Premier while on loan with Barrow, where he was highly rated by their management team.  However he opted to join their league rivals Telford during the summer of 2012.

Though initially reluctant to step down the divisions, Jack has opted to join the Magpies and is excited at the prospect of playing for his home town team and is looking forwards to playing his part in a successful season.
