Supporter Liaison Officers - Any good for non-league clubs?

Yet another EU Directive!

Under Article 35 of the 2010 UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, football clubs taking part in UEFA competitions must appoint a Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) from the 2012/13 season to ensure a proper and constructive dialogue with fans.  The Premier League and Football League have also been looking at the initiative - though there’s no sign of any moves from the non-league authorities to introduce it.

Kids for FREE at Victory Park this Saturday

All under-16’s will be admitted to Victory Park for FREE at Saturday's home game when we entertain Worksop Town.

The healthy ‘gate’ of 600 for the Frickley Athletic win suggests that the Chorley 'faithful' have not deserted the club despite attendances being slightly down on last season.  Once again, we are turning our attention to the younger generation by offering FREE admission to all accompanied under-16 year olds for the Worksop Town game!!  Also, there will be a free raffle of CFC merchandise for all under 16's in attendance at that game!!

This is the ideal opportunity to introduce local children (and their parents) to the joys of watching Chorley FC in the hope that they will decide to become regulars at Victory Park.  The offer will be promoted in next week's Chorley Guardian, but to spread the news quicker and wider we need supporters to let friend, family and work colleagues know - the best form of publicity is 'positive word-of-mouth' from those already dedicated to the Chorley cause.

Christmas Raffle tickets

ANY fans wishing to purchase Christmas raffle tickets can now do so on match days, or call into the club office.  Tickets will also be available to be collected in the evenings, when open from Sue behind the bar.

The supporters club and Magpies Trust will also be selling ticketsto raise funds.

Raffle tickets will be on sale at various pus / shops etc around town and if anyone knows of a business that would like to sell them on behalf of the club - contact John Derbyshire.

If an individual or business sells 50 tickets they can claim two free match tickets for selected games in the new year.

Magpies consistent inconsistency continued at Stafford Rangers

After dominating the first half, Rangers made the Magpies suffer for failing to turn possession into goals with a headed winning just after the hour in a second half which Rangers dominated.

Jack Cudworth, a lone finger throughout the first half was put in man of the match performance in the second 45!

Lose, Win, Lose , Win, Lose... Watch out Worksop!

Away Travel to Kendal Town

ON TUESDAY November 6th we begin our defence of the Lancashire Co-operative Challenge Trophy away to the side we beat in last season’s final, Kendal Town.

The Mint Cakes will obviously be up for this game, so we’re looking for as many supporters as possible to make this trip and cheer the lads onto the next round.  The supporters coach will be departing Duke Street at 6.15pm and seats cost £12 for adults and £6 for children.

Ring Cath Still on 07866 774624 to book you seat.
