Club statement on website hacking

FOLLOWING the club’s website making headline news today in the Lancashire Evening Post I would like to reassure all visitors to this site that the issue that arose on Monday morning (July 15th) has been resolved and this website poses no security threat at all to the device you use to browse this website.

The group that hacked the site did not select Chorley FC as a target, they just hit us at random and in the end did very little damage. The club has suffered no losses what so ever following this attack and action has been taken to ensure this type of attack does not occur again in the future.

If anyone has any queries or concerns regarding this, please feel free to contact me.
