BREAKING | Development Squad v Lancaster City in venue swap

In a last minute change, tomorrow's Galaxy Lancashire League West game will now be held at the Chorley Group VIctory Park Stadium.

In an email received late this afternoon, Lancaster City announced that the pitch at the Giant Axe was unplayable after hosting a game at the weekend.  WIth both clubs keen to play fulfil the fixture after a number of weather-related postponements, we have agreed to swap the venue to Chorley instead

The young Magpies, who have not played a competitive game since their 5-1 home win over Witton Albion on November 16th, could leapfrog thei Dolly Blues to claim top spot with a win on the night. Lancaster are currently on 17 points from eight games with the Magpies on a maximum 15 points from just five games.

The game, which is the first under new manager Paul Greenacre kicks off at 7.45 pm. Entry, as usual is by donation.

You can catch both the half time and full time results on our twitter feed at @chorley_fc_u21.

We would like to thank Lancashire League officials for agreeing to the last minute swap and for arranging a new referee and his assistant referees.
