COMMERCIAL | Trust sign up for the season

We are delighted to announce the Chorley FC Supporters Trust as our latest sponsorship partner for the 2017/18 season who’ll be getting behind Matt Jansen and his squad as they bid for National League North and FA Cup glory.

Commercial Manager Josh Vosper said: “We’re over the moon to have the Trust on board after choosing a sponsorship package this season. We’ve been working with Dave Tindall and everyone else on a number of varied projects, which has proved an invaluable insight. That’s key going forward as we continue to work closely together.”

He added: “Everyone at the Trust are genuine, honest people with a passion for Chorley Football Club - just like ourselves and go that extra mile for their members. They are exactly the type of organisation that we as a club want to be associated with and firmly recognise the commercial benefits that we can offer as we look to the future.”

Supporters Trust Chairman Dave Tindall commented: “We are pleased to be able to lend our support to the football club as it looks to progress both on and off the pitch under Ken and Graham. The Trust has backed the club since formation including installation of the disabled ramp at the Social Club, purchase of a new defibrillator at Victory Park and ball and player sponsorships.”

He added: “It goes without saying this felt like the next logical step. The sponsorship package allows us access to the 1883 Lounge on the two occasions when we are match ball sponsors which will be an excellent prize to be able to offer to our Trust members.” Membership of the Supporters Trust is still available for the season - cost is only £10 and free for under 16s and gives many benefits including discount on football club events.

The Trust are also backing the Chorley FC Development Squads through their pledges scheme where fans can pledge pounds for points, goals scored, clean sheets - whatever takes your fancy. To date this season the Trust has raised over £800 in addition to the £3,000 which was donated last season to help fund the Magpies stars of the future.
