TEAGUE SEES RED AS WANDERERS COME BACK

Chorley's home pre-season programme got underway with a run-out against a strong Bolton Wanderers line-up.

Terry Gornall and Marcus Carver put Chorley intoa comfortable early league against their Championship opponents, but as half time approached captain Andy Teague was shown a straight red following his reaction to a dangerous challenge from Wanderer Gary Madine, who collected a yellow for the challenge.

Bolton used their numerical advantage well and two goals from Harry Brockbank either side of a strike from Ryan White secured the Wanderers win.

Over the next week The Magpies have three away friendlies against Clitheroe (Tuesday), Atherton Collieries (Thursday) and Bamber Bridge (Saturday).
