Chorley FC will be hosting the inaugural End of Season Awards Night on Saturday 13th May in the Victory Park Social Club after the FC Halifax Town match. The evening will be open to all fans and entry is free, followed by food over which we reflect back on the club’s fortunes of the season, awarding a number of accolades to the first team squad, including the prestigious Manager’s Player of the Year award.

There will be entertainment throughout the evening including a slideshow from the season, interview with the gaffer and plenty award winners. Manager Matt Jansen said: “Whatever happens on Saturday against FC Halifax Town this season has been a success. We’ve punched above our weight throughout the campaign and obviously want to thank everyone for their support - finishing things off in style at our Awards Night.”

He added: “Our fans have been outstanding and it would be great to see everyone come down. All our players will be in attendance and I’m sure it will be a memorable for everybody; especially if we can leave The Shay Stadium victorious. This season has been all about our work ethic and we have a team that fight for their lives. They throw their bodies on the line and just give everything - which is credit to each and everyone of them.”

As a thank you to our spectators, the boards of directors have decided to serve hot pot on the night, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and encourage everyone who is part of our #MagpieFamily to attend.
