Magpie In The Spotlight ...

Joined the Magpies from FC United in the summer of 2013.

An all action midfielder who never gives the opposition a rest, so much so that he is rumours to have three lungs!

Started his career in the North West Counties with Oldham Town from where he moved to FC United and in his first season at Gigg Lane he swept the board in the end -of-season awards.

He scored a famous goals in the FA Cup for the Red Rebels against Rochdale and Brighton & Hove Albion; his stunning left-footed strike which helped FCUM beat Rochdale 3-2 in the first round led to him being voted E.ON Player of the Round.

He played a key role in the Magpies Evo-Stik Premier division title success in 2013/14, but the following season he suffered a sickening facial injury at Tamworth which resulted in him missed a long spell.
