Chorley and Chester battled to a 0-0 draw at Victory Park in a game neither side managed to stamp their authority on.

The Magpies made five changes to the side that knocked Leek Town out of the FA Cup last Saturday with Matt UrwinScott LeatherCourtney Meppen-WalterJosh O’Keefe & Louis Almond returning to the starting XI.

The visitors made two swaps from their FA Cup success against City of Liverpool as skipper Scott Burton joined ex-Chorley forward Dan Mooney back in the starting line-up.


Chorley: Urwin; Challoner, Blakeman, Teague (c), Leather, Meppen-Walter, Wilson, O’Keefe, Carver, Almond (Cottrell, 17), E.Newby. Subs not used: Whitham, Anson, Fletcher, Eccles.
