The Magpies produced a stunning display of attacking football to all-but finish off their hosts before the break. Josh O’Keefe, Adam Blakeman & Marcus Carver notched before half time, with Louis Almond & Elliot Newby completing the scoring in the second half.

11′ GOAL (Chorley): Adam Blakeman swung a corner in from the right and Josh O’Keefeheaded home via a Mark Lees deflection (1-0)

14′ CHANCE (Chorley): Andy Teague put Marcus Carver clean through, but the forward could only put his shot across Josh Ollerenshaw and wide

15′ CHANCE (Chorley): Louis Almond superbly rolled his man and let fly from 20 yards, only for Ollerenshaw to tip his effort over the bar at full stretch

40′ GOAL (Chorley): Marcus Carver looped a header over Ollerenshaw from a perfect O’Keefe cross (3-0)

46′ GOAL (Chorley): Louis Almond rolled home from close range, beating Ollerenshaw at his near post (4-0)

85′ GOAL (Chorley): Elliot Newby fired home his first for the Club after Marcus Carver was given the freedom of Hurst Cross to set him up (5-0)
